Dear, Aki,
It has been a long time didn't hear from you, I hope everything is fine with you. I have something exciting and frustrating want to share to you. Eleven months ago, I was having a hard time with my study, and work, and also with my ex boyfriend. At that time, my friend asked me if I wanted to foster a bunny, because he was not able to take care of her. After I saw the bunny's photo, not only me but also my sister loved it, so we decided to take care of it. But now, the bunny is gone, I am sad and frustrated.
My friend didn't name the bunny when he gave it to me, so we named it Dummy, not because anything, just sounded cute with this name. The bunny was a girl, she was around one year old. My friend didn't know the exact date when she was born.
Guess what does she looked like. She had two dark circles, her ears were black, body was half black and half white, her feet were white. Does that sound like a panda? Right, a bunny that looks like a panda, just imagine how cute she was.
My friend brought her to my home, she was put in a plastic box with a few holes to let her breathe. When I opened the lid, she stood in the box and looked around like a little baby. She was super cute! During the first few months she came to our home, I was always stressed or in bad mood, because I had to work and had a few final exams to take. But after I played with her my mood turned better, and I felt very relaxed. She had the magic power for me and she was special for me, too.
Every time my mother came home, she always stayed in the kitchen and ran around, and my mom always kicked her, she is pretty tiny for my mom to mind her steps. Sometimes, my mom was mad at her, because she always bothered my mom when she cooked the dinner, but she would be good if her "dinner" was ready, she would finish her food at the corner which was the spot for her only. She would go to pee at the designated spot, she was a really good girl. But she always jumped into the garbage can all the time, that made us have to hide all the garbage cans in our house, she was naughty sometimes. Even though she was naughty, or drove me crazy sometimes, I still loved her, She still brought us a lot of fun and happiness.
August 31, 2011, it's a sunny day, and I only had 2 classes to take, because the class in the afternoon had been canceled. I decided to go shopping with my friend and my sister, because I was busy going to school and work during the summer and I didn't spend anytime with my sister. Dummy was sick a day before this day, I thought she would be fine like the last time she got hurts. In fact, I was wrong, I didn't bring her to the vet at once and she suffered a lot of pain. When I got home with my sister, around eight p.m., I saw Dummy was laying straight and looking bad. I have never seen her like that before, I noticed she was seriously sick. When I held her up to get her some water, I felt her tremble. I tried to call for the emergency vet hospital around our area, but it was too late. When I found out which hospital would take care of the bunny, she was gone. I was really frustrated because I didn't take good care of her. I couldn't do anything when she was in pain. I know I can't change the fact, I will cherish every moment I had with her and all she brought to me and my family.
sincerely,
Virginia
